Self-Study Management Training

Behaviors Graphic.jpg

There are 13 behaviors you need to demonstrate to be a great manager. 13 is a great number because that is the number of weeks in a quarter. Which means you can practice 1 skill a week and at the end of a quarter you will see dramatic improvements. Then you can start again to practice (or what Steven Covey calls Sharpening the Saw).

Here is how the program works:

  1. You watch 3 videos about each behavior (What and Why, How, Next Steps). Together these videos give you all the information you need in less than 15 minutes.

  2. View the Worksheet provided and complete the rating, practice steps, and reflection questions. You do this in your actual role, so you get to practice while still being productive.

  3. At your discretion, read the additional resources documents that discuss concepts in further detail.
