Who should get coaching - new or experienced managers?

Anyone can benefit from coaching. Newer managers will learn the best practices right away, to help them succeed faster. Experienced managers may not have gotten the training (or may have been taught the wrong things), so my program will help them as well.

What makes your coaching different?

Every coach has their own style - find the coach that is right for you. My style is to focus on the key 13 behaviors that all managers need, help you apply it in your job, then help you reflect to continually improve. This is the way adults learn best - focus, do, reflect. I also provide plenty of quick materials to reinforce and expand on the key behaviors.

What if I can't afford a coach?

Hiring a coach doesn't have to be expensive. First, with my program, you can develop at your pace, so you can have sessions when you can afford them. Second, I can help provide you with ways to approach your leadership to get approval for the company to reimburse you. Does coaching work?

Coaching isn't 100% foolproof. However, most people who work with a coach find it beneficial. The simple fact is that most of us are not self aware enough to identify where we struggle. When you are a manager, finding people who will give honest feedback is difficult. Coaches are totally vested in you and your success, so a good one will tell you where you are strong and where you are weak. Good coaches focus on helping you where you need it.
